APARTMENT RENOVATION

Astor Court III

The design and renovation of this apartment located in Manhattan's Astor Court, balanced the owners' appreciation of the apartment's pre-war bones with their desire to have a modern renovated home.  The kitchen was moved from its "back of house" location to a place at the heart of the living areas. The bathrooms were renovated with modern fixtures and finishes.  While almost all of the original detail was intact, years of paint called for the replacement of all but the magnificent 18” high crown molding.
