RADIO STATION

WNYU,  New York University 

 

The new home for New York University's student run radio station, WNYU, includes three custom sound isolation broadcast booths, an open collaborative work area for students, offices for the station manager, and high-density storage. The open work area is enlivened with colorful finishes and felt pin-up walls. New light fixtures hang between custom perforated stained plywood panels that are suspended from the ceiling in order to mask the miles of existing vital university infrastructure wiring while at the same time maintaining easy access.
