TOWNHOUSE

RENOVATION AND ADDITION

Fort Greene

This gracious landmarked Fort Greene townhouse was in a state of extreme disrepair and required structural work before our team could even perform a preliminary survey. In spite of its damaged state many of the original details were still intact on the main parlor floor. The goal of the project was to restore some of the original details while weaving a modern design throughout. The back facade was completely rebuilt featuring a double height design with a custom bronze screen at the lower two levels and maintained the historic brick at the upper two levels. The house was designed and built to Passive House standards.
